New Website

Abscraft - 11/8/2025

I am delighted to reveal my new website https://alisonbaileysmith.com/ ahead of my return as an official Oxton Artist for the Oxton Art Fair next weekend. The website has been created by Brandon Lee with images by Matthew Thomas -based at Make on Argyle Street, with Lauren and Gill modelling my work. This change impacts my packaging and communications as I phase out ABScraft finally. Bear with us as we fine tune the content and use up old stickers!

This year, the Oxton Art Fair is celebrating its 21st year with 24 artists— including 8 guest exhibitors — at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum. I took a long step back a few years ago, before returning in 2024 as a guest artist. This year, I will be based in Gallery 4 beyond the cafe.
Last year’s fair welcomed a record 1,700 visitors, and this year promises another vibrant weekend of creativity, conversation and inspiration. Among the new items I will be showing are my kilt pins and a ruff made after Mary Queen of Scots.

We hope this year will be as inspiring as ever, as well as providing solutions for your Christmas shopping list for yourself and others. Looking forward to seeing you at the Williamson Art Gallery and Museum on SATURDAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2025 (10AM-5PM) and SUNDAY 16TH NOVEMBER 2025 (10AM-4PM). Cafe and parking available.

I am also taking part in the 5th Oxton Open Studios. The tour is a not-for-profit collaboration of artists and artisans based in Oxton and the surrounding area. 9 artists are in 4 locations and we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 29th of November from 10-4 and the next day, Sunday the 30th from 12-4.

Look forward to seeing you.
